The Process: Prepare - Test - Demonstrate

1. Prepare

You will study the 12 .pdf textbooks that make up the ISMI® Security Management Body of Knowledge.  Each textbook addresses a different subject (see here)

2. Test

You will confirm your understanding of the textbooks and proficient application of the best practices by undertaking a two-hour multiple-choice examination at your PC/laptop and from a quiet location of your choosing. 

3. Demonstrate

To complete the programme and qualify for your CSM® professional certification, you will demonstrate your skills as a practitioner by undertaking a security survey and producing a security survey report, in which you will apply many of the key best practice concepts of security management addressed in the programme.
